I ordered a range-scale for the sight of my artillery from Tom Heller and was told by Tom that it is the same thing I can expect if I buy the complete sight from Sarco, Inc.

I didn't know that at first and took the part to be a radically reworked original. Since being informed by Tom that it was actually a newly manufactured part, I definitely will not be ordering the whole thing from Sarco. Aside from some questionable dimensional changes affecting the sight-picture, the part is pretty roughly made with obvious grinding/tool marks and will not add to the appearance of an artillery unless it is gone over with some fine emery cloth and blued.

Regards to all,
Jack
