Hey Jim,
thanks fo the offer, but I am looking for some original 1914's (4 - one with all the leather goodies), a 17 and a 18 to complete some rigs that I have. I got a western stye artillery (?) holster from my brother in Caliphoneyia, but it just was not right and really didn't fit. Close, but not quite there.

Someday, I am going to travel down to your neck of the woods and pick up one of those Florida collections that you mentioned when you were here in Michigan. It might be good just to go down there just to meet you when you are not in a hurry to get back home. Your a good man.

Oh! I recently picked up a nice 1917 artillery holster. I am thinking of robbing a 1916 rig holster of its stock cup, shoulder straps and closing strap to complete a rig for a 1917 artillery that I have that has the matching stock and magazine. It looks like all the parts have simular dye jobs and wear. Its just that some idiot screwed the closing strap to the back of the holster in order to close the lid on the holster. I have to contend with those screw holes on the back. But the holster is, otherwise, very nice.
