If it works for you that's great. However I have seen many forearms ruined by holster storage and gun case storage. Recently a neighbor brought over a luger carbine in it's original case. . It was a red disaster. The rust had already created pits. The owner said he had not removed it in years. Better to be safe than sorry. Bill
