4 Scale User Join Date: Nov 2014 Posts: 544 Thanks: 194 Thanked 490 Times in 251 Posts	I recall seeing a refinished pistol a few years back where the owner said he had used 220 grit to get the surface right. As I recall it did look about right. Good luck and please post photos when you're done.
