I date my mid "m" block pistol to 1923 so this one from the "p" block is more likely from 1926.

These would be called "DWM Alphabet Commercial" pistols.

You have a nice one that looks well cared for.

The commercial 7.65mm Luger post WW-I pistols were made with 5 numeric digit serial numbers through about 1920, and then converted after sn 92000 in mid 1921 to the military style 4 numeric digit, one suffix letter format.

They started with suffix letter "i" at that time. These were produced through the 1920's through about the "s" block by 1929.

In about 1930 the DWM production line was dismantled and moved from Berlin to Mauser's Oberndorf facility.
