Nice pistol. Around 1974-1975, well after the termination of the first Interarms contract, Mauser found they had quite a number of unsellable 9mm pistols in stock, some were already proofed in Ulm, others were unfinished and others could be assembled from available parts.
So they made Interarms a good offer, selling them at a discount. The entire lot, which consisted of a batch of new and refurbished Euro-pistols, was a lot of 3000 pistols in total. That is why this pistol has the 'Gesichert' marking, combined with the FBM proof. |
