It is indeed an odd piece. Has anyone noticed that the toggle knobs have knurling on the sides but lack the grooves on the edges? The knobs appear to have a full contour, so it doesn't look like the grooves were machined off. It also isn't a '29 Swiss toggle. __________________ If it's made after 1918...it's a reproduction
