It is a 1906 Portuguese Army. Since the only marking on top of the gun that you can see is the DWM, the intertwined "M2" royal crest over the chamber has been ground off. It is a relatively scarce gun, too bad it has suffered such indignities. Your price range is a fair estimate since it has been reduced to shooter category.
