P08 Extractor

Ed,

I don't think it's a parts gun...looks to be virgin to me, and since it was made in 1939, Krieghoff must be the manufacturer. Also, it's a Navy issue; has the German "anchor" insignia.

My apologies for the run-around. I gave this pistol to a gunsmith with whom I've worked for years, but maybe he's led me to believe he knows more about Lugers than he really does. It's been over 6 months, and he tells me he is unable to find an extractor that works. He's honest, I believe, but maybe he is in the dark. He has helped me with several projects I've had, one involved a Carcano rifle, and he was able to come through. He just has been so dog-gone adamant that the "hole" and not a "hook" is supposed to be part of the extractor.

I think I'll mail you guys a donation today, as the site is certainly worth it.
