The repro CMR Navy holster has the pull-strap to lift the pistol up, it is needed since the entire pistol and grip is tightly surrounded by the holster. Not exactly made for quick draw.

Being a leftly I can't wear it on the left side, I would need to wear it on the right hip, I would then need to open the flap with the right hand, pull the tab with the left hand to lift the pistol , extract the pistol with the right and finally transfer the pistol to the left to shoot....phew...or just shoot two handed.
