Erma .22 conversion kit

I installed by Erma unit on my 1938 S-42, which is a mixed numbered shooter. Complete recycling action was excellent, mag. drops right out. Maybe you can tell me, this Eram unit has been in my possession for 25+ years, in the cardboard box, any thought if this is an early or late unit. Many thanx.....Bob
