The five-year-long SF saga of a station in deep space and the goings-on concerning it.
The futuristic long arms which show up regularly in this series were designed to have Luger grip frames as part of the prop. This can clearly be seen in this second-season episode "Gropos", in a closeup of a "hero" prop: the rear grip is clearly made from a Luger frame, and the added-on parts emulate a toggle and the Luger 'look'. Whether it is real or part of a fake prop Luger is impossible to tell; it might also be a plastic casting. ![]() The Babylon 5 geek...sorry, fan...website http://www.b5tech.com/misctech/weapo.../ppgrifle.html (I say this with true affection, being a fan/geek myself) has fantasy details of this prop, including a line-diagram clealy showing the Luger left-frame details. ![]() --Dwight |

an interesting display Dwight... thanks for sharing... I am of the opinion that the "weapon" shown was made from a replica rather than a genuine Luger... for several reasons... the first being that the replicas are relatively cheaper than a genuine donor gun would be and second they are made of material that would much easier to work with than the steel of a firearm frame...
