Default Luger 45 ACP Magazine Progress

After a bit of playing around with the dies ,

we got a good bend on a magazine tube.

Follower fits well also.

Tube slide in and out of the frame with no effort,

8 rounds go in and go out.

Original plan to use a machine vise for bending did not work, test tube done with a friends 20 ton press,

New 50 ton press is on order for next week delivery.

Default 45 Luger...quality first

Lugerman, thank you for your detailed report and photos. It is reassuring to see the quality parts you are machining and the extensive testing aiming for 100% reliability. Collectors/shooters would rather wait and get a beautifully made and reliably functioning Luger than get one too soon with problems. Keep up the good work!
