Luger 45 ACP Magazine Progress
2 Attachment(s)
After a bit of playing around with the dies ,
we got a good bend on a magazine tube. Follower fits well also. Tube slide in and out of the frame with no effort, 8 rounds go in and go out. Original plan to use a machine vise for bending did not work, test tube done with a friends 20 ton press, New 50 ton press is on order for next week delivery. |

45 Luger...quality first
Lugerman, thank you for your detailed report and photos. It is reassuring to see the quality parts you are machining and the extensive testing aiming for 100% reliability. Collectors/shooters would rather wait and get a beautifully made and reliably functioning Luger than get one too soon with problems. Keep up the good work!
