Those are BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Also - John (or others), you would be the person to ask about this. What books would you recommend for USGI collectors?

Outstanding pictures - outstanding collection!!!

Best to you,

John

Darn nice sir!!!!!! I just love collections like these. I'm not really a 1911 fanatic, (I still like 'em though), but that's really a nice set.

John D. and all

I spent some time surfin' the web and found this link for the reference book above:
http://www.coolgunsite.com/

If their book offer is still valid, it's an attractive deal. The order form had some frontpage errors? , so I sent him an email.
I'll be waiting and hoping for mine! <img border="0" alt="[jumper]" title="" src="graemlins/jumper.gif" />

Mr. Holbrook, thanks for the sharing great photo's and wealth of information. Looks like this fella is in your part of the country. <img border="0" alt="[bigbye]" title="" src="graemlins/xyxwave.gif" />

Regards,
Fritz.

My thanks!!! Like you - I got an error when I tried to order as well - so I'll pop "Karl" an e-mail too, just to be sure it went through! I also did a search on amazon for the book... Didn't find this one - BUT I DID FIND another Clawson 1911 book - for $700!!! Yikes!!!!

Thanks again Fritz and John H....!!!
