Post Swiss 1939 unopened ammo-box

Hi,

Found this little box at a local show. It's a 1939 Swiss box with 24 rounds of 7.65 or 30 luger rounds. Still sealed.

The box is wrapped in black paper with a canvas opening strip peeking out of the side. The capacity is enough to fill 3 magazines. The box is stamped with a production/acceptance date of 15.4.1939.

Thought I'd show it here as I have never seen these before.

Hey Gerben,

I really do not think you need to "trash up" your gun safe with such Swiss stuff that does not fit into your collecting areas of interest...

Would be happy to take this old stuff off your hands... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Actually, congratulations on a really nice find !!! Now you need to add a red Bern M1929 and holster to the ammo box...

Regards,

Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />

Hi Pete,

Actually spoke to a nice fellow on that particular show, who owned a 1939 Swiss Luger rig. Convinced him to check out the forum as he was trying to determine the correct accessories for his 06/29.

I'm always interested in swapping this Swiss trash against some honest DWM-made stuff
