It's a mighty high price but I've been collecting Lugers since the '60s and it's the first I've seen.

George, The circular stamp in the blank pages..is that Police School?

Pat, Do you think that is a reasonable price? I paid $2500 for an Artillery Luger manual this Winter..Artillery manuals might seem common in comparison to this?

Jerry, The property stamp was probably added in 1909 but at least one later addendum is added. See the last photo with the 1910 date.

For collectors of Luger ephemera, this is an outstanding acquisition. Good quality examples of some early Luger manuals easily top $2K these days and there are only so many to go around. A great investment.
