g date collectablity

How collectable is a g date luger compared to later models? Is it one of the more desirable lugers to own?

there were much fewer of them made, so value is more, but it really depends on what the public is fickle about. Many folks like the nazi era, so their value is more.

go to Simpsons, LTD and look at prices, that usually helps.
