Default An Honest Looking 1906 Navy on GB

For anyone in the market for an inexpensive property marked 1906 Navy, here's one for you. This current GB listing has that "been there, done that" look and appears legit to me. (I have no connection or knowledge of, the seller other than messaging him for the serial number (it's #7037, a new listing).
For those looking for barrel serial halos, the first 10,000 or so 1906 Navies (the no-suffix bloc), do not show halos as they were serial numbered prior to bluing, however, the property marking was stamped after the gun left the factory and it does have visible halos.
The gun is missing a magazine but the price, so far, seems like a bargain.
Norm
P.S. Ignore the "Commercial" in the headline, the seller doesn't know what he's talking about.

I was wondering about the front sight? Is it original or a replacement? The pictures aren't the best. I actually would be interested in it but I'm tapped out. Need a little time to rebuild my gun funds. Seller calls it 80% but like I said the pics aren't the best the blueing looks pretty faded but I sure it's just the lighting. Good luck Heinz if you decide to throw your hat in the ring, price is good so far.

The ending time was not good for the seller. It may have helped the buyer.

yes - I figure it is best to have it start and end about 6PM Fri/
Sat/Sun pacific time, thus 9PM Eastern
I figure more people can look at it
Moreso ebay but too early and folks won't see it, same with too late.

Not in Canada Heinz ... brokerage fees would all but make even a great deal untenable.

I snagged it. Woo-hoo! What a steal!

I've been watching it and I'm always up that early for work. I think the ending time (and time of year) certainly affected the final bid. The brief description and sparse pics didn't help the seller much either.

Fortunately, I don't mind chatting people up (I also messaged the seller for the s.n. and some other details) and the bid stayed low. Now I just gotta find a mag for it and try to explain to my better half why I NEEDED another Navy Luger right now...

I wanted to post some pics of this 1906 Navy when I got it, but had to "brush up" on my photography skills first... Thanks to all who have shared their photography tips, especially Norme! It's all original finish and numbers matching, including both grips.

Thanks, Heinz!
I pm-ed you. Here are some close-up shots of the safety area and one of the safety area and the serial numbers on the trigger and grip safety while I'm at it.
