Portuguese Holster
I bought a matching byf42 p08 last week, and it was sold with a unknown holster, told as WW1. A friend of mine search in his books and end up that it is a portuguese 1943 holster. It is complete with both tools and the little leather sling to attach to the rear of the luger to avoid dropping it on the battlefield. It has no marking (at least i didn't saw any) but the serial number, 3500 something.
Is it an interesting piece? I'm not planning to sell it, but what value could it be worth? Thanks for any help. Arnaud |

Hi Arnaud,
Porto '43 holsters go from about $75-300 depending on condition, with the average VG condition ones typically costing about $125-150. Tom A. |

There is a very nice photo essay of the finest of the 1943 holsters I have ever seen in the Member Gallery...
