Default 1900 American Eagle Test Luger. #6789

I have attached pictures of the Test Luger I recently inherited in order to gain some feedback from the experts on this site.
My intention is to sell this all matching number pistol and wish to get your insight on where best to list for sale.
Simpson’s, Legacy, or somewhere else?
Also given its matching numbers with exception of magazine and around 80% original bluing, what would I expect as a reasonable selling price. Thanks in advance for comments

If you value my opinion; I would certainly not try to sell a test gun. The value will go up and you have s really rare and desirable Luger. Test Lugers are not easy to come by. Hang on is my opinion..

Mike

I realized I did not answer your question about value; Well to comment on that, I would think that Luger should bring in the $6000 range. However given the condition I would think it could bring in the $7000 range at an auction.

I agree with Mike, it will appreciate in value, more so over time.

I would not consign it to someone to sell for you- sell it yourself. Here, Still Forum or P.38 Forum. Save what will probably be a 20% commission fee (or more). Post good pics and a description. Start at a figure and it will sell or offers will be made. Your market is here and at the other sites mentioned. Let a collector add it to their collection.
