Default GNR Holster--New to me

Greetings for the bayou country;
I recently acquired a very nice Portuguese GNR Luger. The Luger came with a matching holster. I have been collecting Lugers for a long time, but this is a first for me. I have seen and owned M-2 holsters, but this one is a bit different. It appears to be in excellent condition. How common are these GNR holsters? Are they in demand? Any comments will be appreciated.

Mike

Nice holster. This is one you do not see many of. I understand there were only 600 or so made so very uncommon to find one. Thanks for sharing. Bill

Look like a M2 rework for the GNR ?

Most of the numbers have been overstamped as well. Reissued?

Mike, As Bill mentioned, less than 600 of these GNRs and their holsters were imported into the US. As had been stated above, the holsters were reworked by adding the extended belt loops, from normal M2 type holsters. TH
