Eric,
there are for sure many hundreds and maybe thousands of steps to make a luger from scratch!
Everytime you touch it is another step!

Thanks for pointing that out! I believe there are in excess of fifty individual parts! Like strokes of a brush on a painting~ Each is individually mastered to fit into the finished product! Just as Perfect!

Default parts list

We actually make over 70 of individual parts and there variations for all the models of the 45 Lugers we offer.
That includes all the springs, pins and everything else we make in the shop.

I know what a huge undertaking this must be, and I appreciate the entrepreneur who is willing to put it all on the line to make a vision into a reality.

Default Gold Luger 45 ACP

Idea came from a forum member,

after research it is not that hard to do.

What do you think about it.

It's TiN coating that used used on cutting tools.

It is Photoshoped for now, to see what it will look like.

No need, I'd recommend concentrate on fewer variants- will be more efficient.
You are spread "thin" enough as it is!

I feel same way. Even so I have to say having a Gold Luger is kind of cool In a non collector kind of way.
Finish is a subcontracted ordeal, and does not take away anything from our time, that is if anyone actually wants one.

Default Luger 45 special

Gold Luger will carry $200 premium over standard price.

All forum members placing a pre-order for 2018 lot of 45 Lugers will get 5% off on any order. Offer is good till 4/1/2018

That's $300 of from standard price, or a free extra magazine.

I do not like what some folks refer to as "pimped up" Lugers. But oddly enough, I almost find that gold .45 attractive. I must be getting soft in the head. ((and I do like the 4-inch barrel)

I believe this luger has been discussed before and there is also some strange wording in the inscription, IIRC.

But for sure it is an engraved, gold plated luger!
