Israeli used K98s
Hi,
Just to settle a discussion on a local forum: Has anyone observed an Israeli K98 with the star of david marked or branded on the butt stock? I've seen quite a few, our club owns one, that were converted to 7.62 or .308 nato and have the 7.62 on the chamber an stock, together with Israeli proofs alongside the original ones. But I have never seen one with a star in a circle branded into the stock, anyone else has? |

Hi Tac,
Thanks. We've got a nice example of a .308 conversion at our club and it still get's its regular share of action. It's just branded with 7.62 on the butt but nothing else (apart from the proofing, of course). I've searched the net for quite a time and only saw similar or completely unmarked examples. |
