!00 year old Luger is new to me.
Just thought I would say How much Shadowdog 500 has meant to me. I bought my Luger P 08 about a month ago and was stymied on how to clean it yet alone how to field strip it. I goggled and found Shadowdog 500 and how to detail strip it, and I was off to the races. I have now one one of the cleanest Luger's going. The mainspring was a challenge and my #1 son took it out and I cleaned out everything, it had a brown grease but no rust.
Every spring and nook and cranny is now glistening clean, hooray for me and shadowdog500 videos. This forum has been so enlightening for me I just wanted all to know how appreciative I am. If I can conquer how to upload pictures I shall do so. Hope this is in right forum. rocky3 |

I can't remember who shadowdog 500 is, but glad you found some help.
I moved your thread to here on the new collectors part of the forum, easier to find. Ed
