Abercrombie & Fitch 1904 Catalog
oh for the 'good ole days!'
Notice how much more you had to pay to get a NEW Ideal combination Stock & Holster! An A&F 1904 catalog is currently being auctioned at eBay... (not by me... I just thought it was a very interesting ad).

I know of an A&F Luger for sale. It is pricey but in great condition and with the correct holster. I have seen the gun. Anyone interested can email me and I will put you in touch with the owner.

John S, John D, and Bob S (Schwob),
I would never have dreamed that the Original Ideal Holster Stock would have cost 125% of a new Luger. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ EDIT-- I did not look closely enough, "The Price was $6.00 greater than the price of the Luger alone or 24% (That looks more in proportion) end of EDIT +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ That gives me even more satisfaction in my "Home made Reproduction", and also, that much more indebted to those who made it possible for me to accomplish the task. First to John D. because without the LUGER FORUM it would never have come to pass that our paths would cross at this time. Thanks John D without you We would never have met and could never have even concieved of the Idea of the Reproduction Project. Second to John S. whos collection of historic Luger Photographs Gave me the Idea, and then he introducted me to "Schwob". And Last, (But In no way the least), to Bob S,(Schwob) Whos trust in me added the final ingredient to the Project by making it possible for me to work "hands on" with an original "Ideal Holster Stock" (His Prize "Jewel"),Without which I could never have suceeded. (See the "Luger Forum Gallery" Pictures, select 4, "Lugerforum Centerfolds, page 2, picture #9). And, I am proud to claim such men as My Friends. I cannot thank each of you enough for your individual contributions in making it possible fo me to succede in the Reproduction. ViggoG |
