New member followed web link to this forum because of this poll.

I have not bought any Lugers. Acquired some C96s. Some of those Luger dealers carry those.

I vote for Simpson & FGS.

Welcome, Alvin...glad to see you at both discussion boards...

Once you "zero in" on an area of Lugers that interest you and tempts you with your first purchase, you should ask many questions and even post photos of a gun you may be considering...

Many of the experts on both forums will offer a beginner a hand and hopefully keep your first buying experience a good one.

Between the two dealers you mentioned...I have had great success with both. FGS may be, especially more recently, better on asking prices...

Has this survey been update due to changes as of late? Five Year Ago. Such outdated intelligence does more harm then good! The real problem is posting them at all! Five years so much changed. What happened years ago IS NOT REVELANT TODAY!!!

Your Right. I don't know when this compulation was made Scotts one of the 'Good Guys'. I dont think Scott was around years ago when the survey was done years ago!!Ralph is listed and He's DEAD!!Why is this information of any use today! Thats irrevelant and possible slanderous. How about working together and give praise to those of which we can be proud. Wipe out the negativity that has a way sometimes kreeping in!I have to praise our common hero and friend. Ed many a role while writing and policing. If we have a gripe drop a line to Ed. In 8 years He has alwys beenhelpful and vidulant. Reliz that wordsare akin to bullets and once released can never be recalled or eraced. Please we have a duty for those who follow to be there and provide answer we ask! Finally to Jan and His Saint wife for making all this happy. Yes sometime we can take the for granted until until next time you might find your self in a hospital and your wife brings you one of Jans masterpieces. Lets get back to fun and leave or pasts behind~!

History is Timeless!

Edmund Burke (1729-1797) "Those who don't know history are destined to repeat it."
George Santayana (1863-1952) "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

Your own words. One must be careful in discarding any information as its importance might not be readily evident. This should be obvious to any attorney. Those that I'm related to, including the Chief Judge of the US Navy and the Chief Judge of the Department of Defense Court of Appeals seem to save everything.

Shouldn't we update the voting list to reflect the current state of the market and keep the previous one to show where we've come from?

Best of both worlds...

Words beit written or vocal are as deadly and powerful as any projectile. Once lauched thru anger or mistake can never be recalled or explained! It took one finger on one handgun seal the fate of millions a world war. Forty year later a pull of a handle was again hellish devastation. We underestimate the control we are gifted. We must start when we are first impressionable. Again those actions can shape the minds of those of who we might depend. What they may remember not a red toy truck but tha word, action or hug. I spend a great deal of time in hospitals and because of their support and my wife I'm able at last to sit at my desk. I hope a fruitfull surrounding be you my friends also. REMEMBER Our cards have all be dealt. Our life will depend upon how we use these cards daily. Use them wisely, Beleive me there is no card counting in life! Tks Eric, JD
