1917 holster question
I bought my Luger from a coworker and the holster appears to be dyed black is that a normal thing for 1917 erfurt lugers to have with them?
From the paperwork he gave with the gun it appears to have been imported from Austrailia into Holland in june of 1980 then sent to the guy I bought it from in 2001 to the United states. it is stamped HermannThieme Magdeburg 1917 I would post a pic but cant find my digital cameral right now. CRS is hitting me hard lately Thanks Kenny |

Sorry Kenny, was messing around and deleted my own response. What I had said was that the army told their folks they had to make their holsters black. There were brown holsters also, WW1, and brown and black police ones.
The brown ones sell for more on e-bay, but you see more black then brown, but since the brown ones sell for more, I think sellers are playing on that. ed
