Default .22 KKW Trainer

What would be a fair price for a .22 KKW German Training Rifle. The gun is about 85% condition and seems to all matching with no sling. The owner wants to sell, but is trying to find out a correct price. The Blue Book prices a 90% gun at $300. But the stock on this rifle is Hitle Youth stamped, whick must add value.

I think the Blue Book is off by a lot. I am really thinking around $600, but want to see what other people may think. I have never see one sell before. Maybe it is more than I think.

Last one I had I sold two years ago for $1200. It was a Gusloff and quite nice at about 98%.

Buy it quick. I don't think they are going to make any more of them.

I bought the .22 KKW training rifle. The stock is stamped " H J Bann 303".
Does anyone know in which city H J Bann 303 was located? I also need a sling and a cleaning rod if anyone has extras.

The slings are very difficult to come by and they are different, not sure about the rod? You will most likely stumble over these at shows, and many times sold as regular k-98 pieces.

Richard, please post a photo essay on your .22 trainer... I know many here would like to see it up close, including me.

Hello,

You might try the above link to look for a sling and stacking rod.

The DSM's and KKW's and all Mauser .22 sporting and target rifles are beautiful rifles. Well made and very accurate.

I like them for their quality, accuracy and they are inexpensive to shoot. My benchrest is on my back porch and I can shoot all day for just a few dollars. The subsonic ammo is also very quite.

Good Luck,

Thanks for the offer. But at this time I am not ready to trade it. I plan to post pictures as soon as I get time to learn how.
