If they don't sell in the auction, ask if you can see them at the next OGCA meeting in Wilmington on November 23 & 24 at the FGS table. Its always better to feel and touch what you are buying esspecially since you live close to the show. But if you decide to try for them on the auction, make sure you ask about the return policy. There is nothing in the description about it. By the way, the guns look pretty well used. See if the mags match.

Big Norm:

Thanks for the advise. I believe I will wait the auction out and try for a personal look.

Hello Ken,

They seem to be in average condition and not really collectible grade. Of the four Portuguese Lugers, the two DWM Navy M1906 Lugers models are rarer than compared to the Mauser Banner models.

If you interested in one of them, irrespective of their condition, then the opening bid is about the correct market value.

Hi Albert:

Thanks for the comments and evaluation. I agree
with you on the condition and value. I was just surprised to see four Portuguese going at one time. The two 06 DWM navies were my primary interest. Will wait and see what happens.

Regards
