Arrow Who offers the best 9mm barrel blank???

Hi to all, does anyone know if there are any manufactures out there that offer a 9mm barrel blank with the same internal dimensions, bore, lands, grooves, twist, etc... as the original DWM or Mauser barrels??? Whats the best available for the price?? Best to all! til...lat'r....GT

GT,

The best ones that I have found have been picked up on ebay and are marked "made in Germany". I don't know if they are recently imported or are "new" "old " stock from the '50's & '60's. The first ones that I got from Numrich a couple of years ago were pretty good, but the last couple were terrible, the extractor slot and front sight mount did not line up. These were 9mm, the 30 cal bbls from Numrich must be old stock and they are good quality! You might try Tom Heller, he did have some new older bbls that were good quality.

I also believe that Lothar-Walther (www.lothar-walther.com) makes bbls for the standard Luger frame. You might contact them at the above web site.

Shilen does have a website with a pistol section.

http://shilen.com/pistol.htm

They offer barrels in 9mm and they are one of the best. Luger barrel done by Shilen would be awesome. Hmmmm, might be one way to make a stainless artillery Luger!!!
