Default Help with a 42 byf 34xxf approx value?

Hi guys,
I I have a 1942 byf 34xxf double 135 proof marks. I'm considering adding it to the collection. It has little bluing left-maintly under the barrel and in front of the trigger guard. the rest is 40% thin brown patina with high spots and moderate frontstrap/backstrap wear. Area above serial number on frame seems pretty rounded. Minor pitting at front sight area of muzzle and the trigger guard. Seems to be a real old war horse. It is number matching/nice bore and 1 number matching magazine with no f. Grips have no number on them. Havn't tried to fire it. Mechanicly feels right and smooth.
I have the pistol but have not yet "bought" it. Myself and the seller are trying to do some research to figure out a fair price..
I know the finish is a serious consideration. The serial number matching magazine is the kicker. No holster or tool. Grips look good, but seller thinks they have been replaced. appreciate the help
Thanks in advance guys

The flash makes it very difficult to judge things.

I doubt that the magazine was marked with those dies at the factory. The font isn't right.

Same thing on the breech block.

So... mismatch Luger in low finish condition, with attempt at making parts look matching. My best guess is $700.

Thanks Marc,
The second set of pics are no flash- just ambient light at the shop. It wasn't for sale just yet. Was in the "need to know more about it" category. Neither of us knew much about it. I see some old refinish signs as well. Should matching mags be in the same font as the serial number? Thanks again for the help.
