Post 8" HH Heiser, Basket-Weave Holster...

A few more photos of my newly acquired 8" HH Heiser holster from the 1920's with a basket-weave pattern of leather tooling.

The luger is an 8" commercial swiss (rebarreled) that I picked up from LF member, Tom Heller, as my long barrel, 9 mm shooter and the grip rework was done by LF member, Hugh Clark.

Regards,

Pete...

Hello Mauro,

I will certainly do so. I was not too happy with the results of these photos...so will take a few more tomorrow morning...if the weather is not overcast...

Pete,
I have a brown holster just like that, only with the mag holder on the outside.

Mine doesn't have the "HH Heiser" maker ID stamp on the belt loop and snap keeping the flap closed is missing.

I thought mine was a one of a kind custom made, but I guess not. I might get this thing fixed now.

Jerry another one might be comming your way.

Jim

Hello Jim,

If you post some photos, maybe we can get someone to ID it for you.

Since Jerry B. is recovering from his hip surgery, you might try a local leather shop. I found a motorcycle leather shop near my home to help with brass snaps on one piece I have. They only charged me $ 5 to replace 3 snaps and did it while I waited. But I would only use Jerry for any holster rebuilding or restitching work...

Hello Mauro,

I tried to send both a zipped file and the individual jpeg files (one at a time) to your home email address.

I get error messages everytime from your ISP that you mailbox account is full and will not accept anymore incoming emails.

Please advise...I have 5 photo jpegs to send you...
