Default eBay cartridge counter grip and mag

Is this a real cartridge counter grip and mag?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Luger-1902-...oAAOSw3utY5bjj

If so isn't this a pretty good price?

I am not in the market for one, just thought it was interesting.
It's been on eBay for some time now. I assume someone would have grabbed it if legit.

To my untrained eyes the mag looks identical to this one at Simpson:

Given the seller on Ebay, I wonder if it comes with a jar of Vaseline.

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand.

Is this mag fake?

If not fake, why is the Simpson one so expensive?

They are both fakes. You could charitably call the magazine a reproduction, but it isn't being represented as such so it is a fake.
There is a subtle difference between the Simpson mag and this one that is visible on the left side of the magazine...the slot on the ebay mag is too short. The other tell is at the top of the spine of the magazine, but there isn't a view of the Simpson magazine to compare it with.
