That was not a slam, it is just so nice, that I always get nervous, although I find that commercials are more likely to be nice than police and military ones.

I just always use a flashlight for the patina, the halo's, the sharpness of all markings

Those are a C/B and C/U. They look odd because they are presented sideways.

Commercials are much more difficult to find than American Eagles and this one is a stunner! I would take that one home and snuggle up to it in a heartbeat. Wow!
Two flaming bomb inspector marked magazines are a nice addition, kinda like finding the best prize in a box of Cracker Jacks.

Yes, the finish gave me pause. But then from Ron's past comments, I've learned that the early commercials had the best finishes of all. So... Also I've learned that they marked things differently then. Commercial style, and kindda like Krieghoff had their own system. This one had no marks on: firing pin, hold open, nor the strawed safety lever. Were they blued after proof marks? The toggle proofs seem to be that way....Maybe?

I think I'll keep it.

Amazing. I had one in the 13,000 range. I had to fire it once. I shot 6 through it. It was so tight, it felt like the gun was part of my arm, like another muscle, it was amazing. I regret selling that one. I sold it for 1,100 and it was nice. The breechblock had a different number, but it looked like it was done like that as a repair.

If you do this without knowing them that much, I can only imagine what you could have brought home with further knowledge. If you were looking for a 1900 then it is this one. Congratulations, the gun seems to be in pristine condition.

Well, I'm not new to lugers, but this era?, year? type? is new to me. Standing there handling it, I tried to remember all that I had learned on this site. Told the seller I was uncertain about a couple of things. That I needed to get advice from you guys. He guaranteed full refund if a fault was found.

I hope to do business with him again.

Glock30. Yes, the fit is a lot tighter than the later militaries.
