(OT) I am sitting here, listening to...
Richard Wagner, drinking a St. Pauli Girl, admiring my Lugers in Dok's cases, cooking ribs, and generally feeling real American. I know it's not the fourth but I just couldn't wait, OK? I'll just have to do it all over again on Wednesday! This is just a rehearsal. How are the rest of you spending this Saturday?

Re: (OT) I am sitting here, listening to...
I'm sitting here in hot and humid Illinis, pecking on this keyboard because it's too damn hot to go outside to do anything. And besides that I'm really bored as I just came back Thursday from a two week safari in Namibia Afica. What a hoot that was. Happy 4th to all. I,m new on the board, just found it today. I presently own only one Luger, But have owned many in the past.

Just got back from a gunshow. Saw 6 Lugers; three s******** Aimcos, a nickel plated arty, a overpriced byf, and a 30 cal commercial I almost bought. Spent my money on a Win 42 instead!
Now I'm going to go mow the lawn in 80 deg heat so Minta will feed me supper tonite! I was told "no lawn mowed, cook your own". |

Hi everyone..
Just got done trimming the lawn, pulling some weeds, mowing part of it, getting an estimate on a new deck, polishing the hammer sides on a Ruger Speed-Six, reading the latest e-book on Luger Models (learned some new stuff) and now I am thinking about what to have for dinner (would seriously like to avoid going to the store). Beautiful sunny morning turning to hazy overcast afternoon here in Seattle. Perfect for BBQ, going to the beach or taking the sound suppressed Sig-Sauer to the park (just kidding). Take care. Bill
Take me to your Luger! |

Re: Hi everyone..
Hi to All ;
I for one think that I have the best of it . I'm now retired Twenty three years , am building a home on the 50,000 acre Kerr Lake in south central Virginia and enjoying the fruits of 36 years of civil service with N.A.S.A. Today "Billie" ( my wife ) and I took the pontoon out on the lake , put some good music on the sterio and just drifted along and enjoyed life . I hope that all of you can someday have much of the same good life . ViggoG |

Re: Hi everyone..
At dusk last night, as the coastal fog rolled in took out the 9 weight fly rod, and went striper fishing. The bay water is 80 degrees now, so the biggest fish I got was only 20 inches, but on a fly its great. Reading through the thread we all did various things in our little regions of America. Isn't it great to be in a country where we have these freedoms?

Re: Holiday Fun
Sounds like you guys have it made. I wonder why GT and I seem to be the only ones working, trying to get the orders out to you guys. I guess this is the price of being self employed; you just keep working until the orders are done. I do plan to "goof-off" on the 4th, to take in Fair St. Louis down on the Riverfront and see some real fireworks.
