Ed, my homemade one worked, but only after I made a post after it was showing up in my profile. <img border="0" alt="[ouch]" title="" src="graemlins/c.gif" />

Hi Larry and Pete...!
Larry - thanks so much for your, and everyones support, it is more appreciated then many realize... However - there isn't much of a chance that this Forum will go away as long as the other main site stays up and running - which should be for quite some time, as it has a Forum that posts approximately 600 messages a day and takes almost 1000000 hits every two days. As well, I also host e-mail discussion forums which have over 83,000 registered participants and send out over 13000000 messages a day to subscribed users. We talk about cars over there Quite some hobby and part-time "job" - huh?? Anyway - my thanks for your offer..!!! Pete - yes, I actually have a program that will import the old Avatars to your new profile. Unfortunately - I was scrambling pretty hard to get the code to work on this server, so by the time the software was stable enough to run the code - many had already selceted their new Avatar... Soooo - if I were to run that script now, it would knock out the more recent Avatars.. Hmmmm.... Also - please note... About the "Upload feature" and directory..... Is off-line for a bit (the photo's can still be accessed - but the "upload" function is off). I wasn't going to post this publicly, but I will now, and did on the P-38 site I host... It appears that there are some porno sites who have been taking advantage of that free "feature". So - I'm going through 1.5 GB of photos trying to clean out that directory. Now - I'm no prude, but some of the content is a little, ummmm - over the edge. I'm not sure what I'm going to provide in the future for this function, so please be patient. I can only imagine how many porn sites have broken links to their pages just now... I'm not sure how I'll replace that feature yet - but I will come up with a way so you can upload your photos, OK??? Best to all!!!!! |

Just got in from coyote hunting, man I wish ya'llud keep that cold weather up north where it belongs. Its cold out there. I also like the new features, its sort of like whem my wife gets back from the beauty saloon, things are pretty much the same but allfixed up and looking better. I like the forum, how else could someone like me where I am learn as much about Lugers? There just aren't that many around here. Deer rifles, shotguns, big caliber revolvers, small caliber semiautos, Skss, front enders, and straight edge razors, but rarely any Lugers. Ya'll take care now.

Very nice to find a site to discuss lugers. It,s obviously due to a dedicated staff that keeps up the site. I,m from Canada and although we have several large collections across the country to my knowledge we don't have a communications group to help one another out. Good job, will be posting a few questions myself in the near future.
