Hi to all! All to frequently, I come across the FN model 1922 autos... some real nice, some so, so ... but, I would snag some of these if anyone was really interested in them??? GT, Appearantly little or no interest here. You might also ask on Jan Still's site, because the WW2 rigs with exc Luftwaffe marked holsters always seem to sell well and there are a few collectors interested in the Serb and Dutch marked ones, but only in exc condition, as there seem to be a lot of FN22s available. I have one also, really like it. If price was "low" enough, I'd buy more, but otherwise..... other hobbies, more money to spend on them.
Mine was nickled (still is), and came with a cool holster, but one is good for now, Ed

GT, I would like one! Perhaps we could work a trade for some of my restoration work for one. My dad brought one back from the War (he was talked into releasing all the Luger rigs he picked up, YIKES!! ) and that is the only weapon that made it back. My sister ended up with it and I have always wanted another to remind me of his time in France and Germany. I even have some video of converted 8mm film of him shooting it down in Mississippi. I think his was 32 Auto. Have you seen the ones in Still's AXIS PISTOLS? A Dutch one has a large QUEEN WILHEMINA CREST on it.

Hi,
There are also Dutch versions with a large Queen Juliana (Crown/J) on the side. These were used by the Dutch police and customs agencies during the late 40's till the early 70's. Wilhelmina was queen until 1948, Juliana from 1948 to 1980. Helps dating Dutch service time Came with black leather holsters with magazine pouch on the flap and a pushbutton closure. |

GT,
I'd be *VERY* interested in minty versions at reasonable prices. I particularly like the contract versions and rigs. Will pay your price plus something for your trouble. Tom A. |

I bought one years ago for $75.00. It was a Turkish contract. Rare!
A BS artist dealer traded me out of it. Ended up with a counterfiet Bolo Mauser. The only satisfaction I have, is that the last time I saw him, he had filed for bankruptcy and had to turn it in for liquidation. Now he's scamming a disability claim. A Real belly crawler. I've been looking for it ever since. Ron
