Gentlemen -

I know next to nothing about holsters (among many other things).

I am wondering how it can be that the closure strap on this holster appears to have a considerable amount of "age cracks" and wear on it while the back side of the holster and the belt loops appear to have practically no age or wear at all?

Any theories or explanations?

The strap flexes and the back don't.

I stand corrected and happily admit, that this holster is in
an exceptionally fine condition.
