Reichs-Gendarmerie
Doing some scratching around in the old posts today and I think I have found the answer to one of my Lugers. Serial number 61476 doesn't look like it has been used since it was turned into a police gun with both safety's. Still in the white inside lower half. All numbers match and seem to be in the font used in the RG Lugers.
More then willing to submit photos of requested parts of the gun. Doesn't have the RG lettering normally found on the left side above grips - seems to be only difference between my gun and the original RG's Suppose the lettering could have been scrubbed off when converted to Police use. Has both Crown B's on the right side and letter/numbers on barrel look original. |
