Wolfgang,
I have those two Gun Report issues. I also have a photocopy of the 1992 British "Journal of the Historical Breechloading Firearms Association" referenced in the Gun Report article and a variant of that article that appeared in the German "Deutches Waffen-Journal (1993)". As stated in the preface to the Gun Report article, the information published by Gun Report includes updates to the previously published 1992 article, therefore it is a bit more comprehensive than the original.

I also have a photocopy of the two-part article by Luc Guillou in the French "Gazette des armes, no. 268 & no. 269" (not sure of the date and my French is virtually non-existent), but I see no information that would provide more information than the Gun Report article.

I have been at this for a very long time so I may have some more Borchardt article bits and pieces stashed away someplace, but I am sure nothing that would further illuminate your research. If I stumble upon something, I will certainly let you know.

Please send me a PM with your mailing address and I will send you photocopies of the Gun Report article.

Very best regards,
Ron

Please forgive my "old school" approach to correspondence. Please PM me your email address and I will send the copies electronically... faster and cheaper!
Ron

Would you mind sharing them publicly? I'd like to upload them to archive.org so they are preserved indefinitely.
