Have you shot it yet to see if it is accurate?

That is a truly beautiful piece. I've only seen one nicer and it was from Georg Luger to I believe one of Hitler's high commanders but I'm not sure of the recipient. I am trying to find pictures of it, the last I saw it it was being sold by Christies in the late 70's early 80's for an estimated opening bid of $750,000. I was offered the pistol by my military supervisor for $2500, told him it was worth more and was offered $25,000 from a larger Shreveport dealer that I showed it to in about 1973. I believe he sold it to the dealer at that time.
