Interarms Mauser 29/70 .30 Luger
Just received this today, literally haven't even knocked the dust off of it.
It is actually better than described in the listing I bought it from, in fact the seller said it only had one magazine. Perhaps he meant everything is part of the Oneness. Can't wait to shoot it along side the 9mm one I already have, to compare the differences in the rounds - I've never shot a .30 Luger. The safety is marked Gesichert (standard production) instead of Safety, the box is marked Interarms. Used what they had, I reckon. If I'm reading the tables correctly, it would have been made toward the end of 29/70 production in 1972. Last edited by Bullet Bob; 02-13-2017 at 05:50 PM. |

I predict you will prefer the .30!

I, also, think that you will enjoy that Luger in 30 Luger. I own an 06/73 6in. bbl. model in 9mm which I do enjoy, but am always keeping an eye open for a 30 Luger model. One just can not own too many Lugers!! Enjoy, and give us a range report.

Dear Bob,
Congratulation for your new acquisition. For what I can see the serial number of your pistol is in the original Mauser Ledgers. Based upon this, I can exactly tell you when your pistol has been produced in Mauser and tested. If you are interested in this certification service please have a look at: http://www.lugerlp08.com/mauser%20pa...tification.htm Please if you want to receive the certificate contact me at: mauser.archive@gmail.com I have attached a sample of certificate but you will receive also a booklet containing copies of the original blue prints. Cheers, Mauro

Thanks Mauro, but I already have the copies of the blueprints from research you did for me on a previous gun, and since I hope to shoot the heck out of this one, I don't think the certificate would mean much to whoever my son sells it to for a dollar once I shuffle off this mortal coil.
My previous contact with you did lead me to purchasing the book The Parabellum is Back!, which I enjoyed tremendously, and led to the purchase of the Mauser in this post. |

Ciao Mauro,
Does the booklet contain the complete set of blueprints for this model? or just extracts as shown on the linked webpage?

Ciao John,
The booklet contains 7 pages, just the most significant, but I have here a few ledgers containing all the original Blue Prints, for each single component. I have not scanned them, some blue-prints are really big. One day, I need to take a photo of the biggest ones and show in the forums. Attached just one of the folder. Bob, If you contact me passing your email, i will prepare the certificate and pass to you for free, it is a pleasure. Cheers, Mauro
