Picked up a 1920 commercial with target grips

Guy told me they were original. I can’t find a pair like them except on Lugerman website. Under the 1907. Are these a homemade set, OEM Luger or a commercial set from a company like Altamont?

Have you taken them off and looked for markings on the back sides?

They look expensive. Checkering is intricate.

How the backs are carved/inset into the grip frame will tell a lot.

Definitely not OEM in 1920.
I vote homemade also; good job though.

Better stabilize that crack on the right at the mag plunger, may also need a little relieving there to clear the catch when pushed from the other side.

Also, what is the SN of your commercial Luger? Alphabet or 5 digit SN?

it is actually a 4 digit Serial number with what appears to be a K suffix with the K under the serial number

It does have Germany stamped on the frame under the barrel.

The frame and and barrel are stamped the same as it the back of the toggle. The side plate isn't marked at all.
