Post just starting out

i just recently purchased my first five lugers; 2 artillery, 1 naval, 1 stoeger st. stl and 1 interarms naval. also picked up 4 c96 broomhandles and 2 p38's.
It would appear that i have been smitten by the german militery handgun bug.
I hope to post some pictures of my mini collection, because I am proud to own them and I shoot every one of them; plus i reload my own mauser 7.65 ammo.
will be glad to meet new friends <img border="0" alt="[bigbye]" title="" src="graemlins/xyxwave.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" title="" src="graemlins/bigok.gif" />

Well done bigbill.
I am particulary interested in some pictures of your navy commemorative model (interarms).
Ciao

Bigbill:

We'd like to help you with the shooting part of your hobby as well.

While some of us shoot our Lugers and others don't, finding proper loads compatible with your Lugers can be a lot of fun, too.

Bigbill,

We want photos......( especially the Navy, not the Interarms...the other one !! )

As for the `` German Military Pistol Bug `` I guess a lot of LF users can relate experiences of `` starting to collect this...then ran into that.......to finally stumble upon a nice......``

That's how nice collections get started.....

(.... try to stay with a theme as it's too easy to get evasive...)

Welcome to the the asylum that is run by the insane inmates. You have a great start.

Continue to reload for the C-96 and do not let a dealer tell you that 7.62X25 Tokarev ammo is safe! It will blowup a Mauser.

If you do not have them already, I recomend the e-books by Gerard Henrotin that are linked in the Links and Resources to the left. There are several on Lugers and one on the C-96, Just download them on the computer that you will view them on as they are not transferable.
