Post .45 Update

I received an email from Mr. Romo today about the .45cal stainless steel Luger.

"I really appreciate your interest in our 45 Project. Yes, our Target Goal is still sometime in the first half of 2004. The progress we are making so far indicates that we are on schedule. The price range is still somewhat problematic and we are not comfortable with a number quite yet. Yes we very much appreciate you passing on this information. We hope to be on the Luger Forum in the near future. We are working on a Web Site as well. The Book Project has taken a back seat to the 45 Project. Will keep you posted and welcome your questions and interest.

With warm regards, R.Romo"

I hope that this helps to answer questions about how things are going and when we can all expect to start spending our money.

As you can tell from the email, they are not commiting to a price but at one point in time Mr. Romo estimated between $900.00 and $1300. If they can bring in at anything close to that range it should sell well. We can all keep our fingers crossed and wait. Even a little above that range would not put it out of reach for most Luger people.

I am NOT speaking for AIMCO on the price. That is just what they said about a year ago and it is clear in the email that I quoted that they are not ready to put a firm price on them yet!
