A good PR person is only if you have a quality product AVAILABLE to the market. TH

Having a quality product available? That never stopped any PR-guy in my business (ICT)

Ditto here. Everyplace I've worked. Included the place I work at now. What's really amazing is when the sales people sell a product/feature that is not even physically possible!

In any case, I think the Orimar situation is different. I think there are plenty of customers willing to spend for the .45 replica. I for one.

A good PR guy could find out what the people want as well as letting the people know they are out there. Look how many people think the stainless is out of production...

In an email about two months ago, I asked Mr. Romo how the .45 project was going. He replied that he had about 75% of the moulds and tooling done but was temporarily stalled due to lack of funds.

He really needs to let people know his products are available! I just looked in the new Guns & Ammo yearly directory and Orimar is not listed. It took me about two weeks of online searching to find his company the first time. Not everyone is going to go to the trouble.

I've recently seen remarks to the effect it was out of production in the gun rags. That sort of thing will not help sales. More products have died due to poor distribution than due to poor design.
