Default Traveling To Mexico ???

I post this here to enlighten my fellow members, especially those who do not reside in the US. Planning a vacation south of the border, ... ?

I've been visiting this site for over 10 years, and it never fails to amaze me why folks in the US are not aware of the actual situation. I talk to a retired DEA Agent at my gym, and he substantiates the seriousness of the problem;

The comments are interesting from a Mexican POV, some seem to be rooting for their favorite team.

Considering the prohibitions on Politics here, that's a very interesting website that I will bookmark. Mexico is a place I will avoid and I've had that opinion for many years.

My wife and I have visited Mexico many times including a two week trip by bicycle from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas. Since motels were few and far between in the Baja we spent most nights camping out in the desert. The many Mexicans we met were all warm and friendly and at no time did we feel threatened.

I owned a home in Mexico for a number of years, and spent a fair amount of time there in the Winter. That was 30+ years ago, and things were very different. The house was sold many years ago, and I have never set foot in Mexico since......and have no plans to change things.
