Re: Hello, Ted is a LUGER Nut
Natalie,
I will agree that you are Ted's better half, MUCH BETTER HALF! I sure wish I could get Sherry into firearms like you are. She has been around them since we were dating and that was 34 years ago. She's Likes them, but they just don't intrest her like they do me. It will be great to have you with us next year at the WOL Forum Meeting. You know, I may be able to get Sherry to go also, she loves to travel and would love to meet you! She will probably ask how you put up with Ted too, HA, HA, HA. (just a little jab at Ted) Marvin |

Re: Hello, Ted is a LUGER Nut
Hi Natalie, I'm Rick. My wife is not a Luger enthusiast, but she likes me ok and tolerates my absorbtion as long as I remember to pay all the "important" bills. She describes herself as a "lugerforum widow" and has threatened to post on the forum to find out if there are any other lugerforum widows out there.

Re: Hi Natalie..!!
I don't doubt it!! He is always looking for excuses to go to Phoenix, and now that he has met G.T. and Frank that live there I am really in trouble. I wouldn't be able to keep him in Rio Rancho. Natalie

Yea - BUT.!!!
Well - from my personal experience, all three in Phoenix are really great folks (G.T., Frank and Ralph). (BTW: Please don't tell Frank I said that about him)
Also - as a PLUS - at least the "commute" from Rio Rancho to Phoenix is a WHOLE lot better then from New England to Phoenix....!!! |

Re: Hello, Ted is a LUGER Nut
Natalie;
Is that all Ted will let you own? Two measely Lugers? Surely with all the BIG BUCKS coming in from his reworks he can afford another for you. Like a mint Navy or American Eagle! I know he's a nice guy, but are you sure you will be able to put up with him three whole days out of each week? |

Re: Howdy Hugh!
No, I can't get any more Lugers as he says he owes a whole lot of money to some guy in Texas that is making him a very expensive Baby Luger! Natalie

Hi Natalie !!!
It is nice to see (or hear) from the better half. What do you think about all this Luger "Stuff". I hope you can make the next voyage to Phoenix so Alice and I can meet you. Hope to see you soon.

Re: Hi Natalie !!!
Frank, I think it is great and I am glad he has Fridays off now to do his Luger work so he doesn't work himself to death late at night. I would like to met you both also. The last visit was fun, we enjoyed GT and Carol and "the pups". Natalie

Re: PUPS?????
It's difficult to think of Panzer as a nearly 100 pound PUP!! But I guess to each his (or her) own!! Next time you will have to come and see us !! BUT we don't have any pups, drat it all anyway.

Re: PUPS?????
Over the years my wife and I have met several 'Luger wives'. Rare is the wife who is actually interested in the Luger itself. Most, we have found, are interested in their husbands passion for the pistol and share in his childlike exuberance. It is obvious that it keeps one young at heart. I know people who collect absolutely nothing and in no time we are talking about the weather. Collectors are interesting folks and Luger collectors, I believe, are the cream of the crop.
