Re: My Navy Repro holster/rig
Thanks, Steve - I called Sarco today to check on the status of my back ordered artillery holster/rig. After several busy signals I finally got through, only to be told "the back order lady" was not in today. Typical of Sarco, although they did send me a fine artillery stock made in Spain. They said they had found a few of the old repro stocks in a corner of the warehouse. That must be some warehouse.
CMR sent me an e-mail today with current prices: holster/rig $84.95, cleaning rod $35, and shipping $20. IMA offers beer barrel artillery cleaning rods (GG1200) for $5. Anyone know how IMA's rods compare to CMR's? Everyone seems to think CMR has the best holsters but CMR now says their artillery holsters are available in black only. |

Re: My Navy Repro holster/rig
Bill, CMR's color selection normally has varied with what is left after they receive their initial shipment. They usually have some models in Russet brown, Antique Brown (almost black) and black. If you can check with them after they receive their next installment the selection MIGHT be a little more varied. Of course, Charles Roscoe would know. ~Thor~
